Hi.
I have a few suggestions for features for the lighttable view. If they were
discussed here already i would like to know what conclusions were made
about them.
So, the first one is to allow the arrow keys to select the next/previous
image. It should be configurable, of course, for those who prefer the
current behavior. I think it would benefit the culling process because it
could be done in entirely using the keyboard without the need to use the
mouse.
Coupled with the first one, there should be an option to auto select the
next image after applying a star rating or marking an image as reject. This
way the culling process could be done just pressing 1-5 and/or r and all
the images would be processed.
The last one is a little more demanding, i think, but extremely useful, in
my opinion. Side-by-side image comparison, with zoom lock option. We could
select two images and be able to compare them side-by-side. As an option,
when we zoom or pan one of them, the other one would mimic the same action.
Very useful for focus or detail comparison on similar images and selecting
the best one.
What do you guys (and girls?) think?
