Of course it is useful. Even with 4K displays there are many people using more than one monitor. At work I use a 3-monitor setup which is already to small. At home I have a 2-monitor version but I want to upgrade to 3 times 27".
I would be very happy to have multi monitor features in darktable. I know that Lightroom has the possibility to extract the lighttable to a second screen. Also moving the map to extra screen could help to add geo information by hand for a big set of images. Does anybody know how to use color management with more than one monitor? I think you have to generate a ICC profile for each monitor but can you set a ICC for every monitor on Linux? Greetz Karsten Am Mittwoch, 14.
