AMD Radeon HD 7970 (http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/HD7970DC2T3GD5/) +
debian sid, no problems at all.
I would *not* recommend AMD FirePro V4900 Pro3D 1GB PCIe 2.1 x16 Graphics
Card (Single slot), because:
1. Only 1GB memory - maybe it is different for FirePro's, but usual
radeon's left for OpenCL only small amount of memory (1 of 3 gb in my case)
2. 30 bit output - (assuming you monitor is capable of that) i believe DT
(cairo) is yet incapable of non 3*8 bit output.
I also would not recommend NVIDIA, because they have their own proprietary
CUDA (so they are not really interested in properly implementing
standardized OpenCL),
and DT uses OpenCL. But that is only my opinion and it might be wrong.
So unless you need 30 bit output for some other apps, i'd recommend going
for something with more memory. (if AMD, then preferably no less 3GB).
