Probably, send me your D810 I'll send you my D800 which is working just
fine in darktable :)

Joke apart, we need to add the base curve for this camera. I may be able
to help if you make available a RAW + jpeg for the same picture. The
idea is to take a picture of a scene with hard shadows to hightlight
(even burned out is ok). Then from this I should be able to create a
base curve for you to test.
