About a week ago I photographed a birthday party. The camera automatic
white balance did not get the correct white balance in several photos and I
fixed that using the spot white balance of Darktable (white balance
module). I edited the photos using whatever unstable version of Darktable
was available (from Pascal's PPA) then. Today I opened that filmroll in
order to edit a few more photos and noticed that the white balance
corrections I had made were lost. When I open these photos in darktoom I
get the following message:

failed to read came white balance information!

It would be a lot of work to fix the white balance in all of those photos
again using the spot white balance in each of those images.

One of such photos is available at

and the corresponding XMP file is at

My camera is a Nikon D800, the Darktable version I am now running is
1.5+1692~gbf2be2b (Ubuntu 14.04). Any suggestions? Could that be a bug?
