have a look at tools/basecurve/ in the git repo. it does exactly that with
newly fitted base curves, either by copy/pasting a bit of code to the c
file directly, and by injecting some sql into the database as a new preset
(this second option works without recompiling dt itself, but would probably
require some program on your side to convert your points to sql)
