Yes, that appears to be exactly what I have experienced.

I will return to my original library.db and edit out the:
  "Looking at the code it seems that you are running into a weird
  situation with a filmroll having NULL as its folder. Could you please
  see what select * from film_rolls where folder is NULL; returns when run
  inside sqlite3 ~/.config/darktable/library.db?"

fwiw, there appears to have been two film rolls w/o a directory listed. 
Deleted both records.  Will reinstall darktable-1.5.1416425441.88bad24 and
test and delay moving any more files until you have issued fix.
