Almost surely all these issues have the same cause, your specific camera (or even camera mode) is not supported in darktable yet. Please open a bug report with an attached sample file here:
http://www.darktable.org/redmine/projects/darktable/issues/new Adding support for more cameras is generally very easy if we have the sample files.
