Since I am using Darktable for years (at least one year before 1.0), I have not read the user manual today ;-)

Such new option should not be "desactivated" by default, I think. Even if it will be easy to apply a new profile to all my images.

Chris

I have noticed a problem with the Tone Curve Tool, that
create very bad purple color zone even when set completly
            flat.

You can see an example image here :

Most likely, it will be gone if you set gamut clipping (in
input color profile) to “linear Rec2020 RGB”

The raw is from a Sony Nex 6.

I have tried the unstable ppa (I am using Ubuntu) and the
            problem is the same.

Since the Tone curve is quite a basic tool, I am very
            surprised to see this "bug".

Such an option is for corner cases. And on stage photos are a corner case.
The option will probably have a detrimental effect on the images, and is therefore deactivated by default.
