I see various tools I might use.
I've done OK at bring out shadow detail and "blend" and
'shows&highlights" seem to do ... relevant things, but I'm unclear how
to use them to deal with specifics.
I have, for example, a photo of white flowers. I can bring out the
shadow background/green leaves but the individual clusters of flowers
are still overblown.
My google-fu doesn't seem up to finding a specific that article that
answers my concerns here. perhaps because I'm unclear on how to express
it. I see what's wrong. My efforts to "fix" it just "breaks' the rest
of the image.
So I'm going in circles repeating the same mistakes over and over and
need some how-to direction to 'do it differently'.
