At the risk of being a bit off-topic, just wanted to let people know about Google's foray into the linux desktop search arena.
The documentation ( http://desktop.google.com/linux/features.html ) says the following data sources and file types are managed: * Gmail * Text files and source code * PDF and PS files * HTML files * Email from Thunderbird * OpenOffice.org documents * Image and music files * Man pages and Info pages * File and folder names As a Thunderbird user, I'm looking to see if it works as promised. I don't see MS file support, not sure if this is an oversight. - Sean Carlos http://www.antezeta.com/beagle-fedora.html _______________________________________________ Dashboard-hackers mailing list Dashboard-hackers@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dashboard-hackers
