Hi-- >From what I understand, at one point DataMapper used the English gem, though it seems now Datamapper, as well as Merb, has internalized most everything, a la Rails. I think that's really unfortunate (irrespective of English), b/c it means less sharing of good code between different projects.
I bring this up, b/c I will no longer be in a position to maintain the English library and need to turn it over to someone who can. So I thought perhaps the DataMapper team might like to have it, so as to have complete control over it in relation to a possible renewed use for DataMapper, while also providing a general purpose library to the Ruby community at large. Let me know. And thanks, T. P.S. If you were wondering... it's been put to me that I should have used the the namespace Language::English::, rather than just English::, for this library.
