We had some problems with recursive hooks, e.g., two different models for which you want a common field to stay the same, when they also had a parent-child relationship. We had issues w/ calling reload prior to saving, and with avoiding recursion (DM 0.10.2 saves up and down the chain, whereas earlier versions just saved down).
