IMD also has a website where you can get hourly rainfall data (they even provide as granular as 15 minutes supposedly): http://aws.imd.gov.in:8091/
They have national level coverage, but there's lots of stations marked in Kerala, so coverage would be quite good. I'm not sure how frequently the data actually updates in the backend though.
