Hello all, OpenCity.in invites you to the *"Bengaluru Climate Hackathon"*.
*About the event:* - To collate data from a range of sources (including ones which are typically not collected by city agencies frequently, but are essential for measuring key outcome indicators) for a few selected climate action KPIs for the city (derived from BCAP). Examples - emissions, public transport usage etc. - To analyse data to measure the outcomes of the selected KPIs to track the progress of climate actions implemented in the city. - To visualize the measured outcomes in a user-friendly interface, which could be plugged into existing CAC-MER dashboards (if any) *When:* August 23rd, 2025, Saturday, 10 AM - 5 PM. *Where:* It is a physical event. Location: BLR Design Centre, Church St, Bengaluru - 01 *Who can participate:* Anyone with an interest in public problem solving is welcome. Knowledge of programming, data analysis, visualisation, GIS, designing websites would be very helpful. *Expectations from Participants:*The hackathon is expected to seed the climate dashboard by developing 5-6 widgets as proof of concepts. Each team is expected to develop one widget which can be embedded in the final dashboard.
