Hi,

I am interested to know if we can run multiple machines and share the
same database, as well as have redundancy, efficiency, all that good
stuff. Is there a way to do that using this ? This seems to be like
almost the exact replica of aspseek. Was this built on top of that ?

DataparkSearch can merge results from several search bases, but it can works with distributed database only if that future is supported by sql-searver.

Also is possible a configuration when you have dedicated PC for SQL-server, dedicated PC for searchd (and where cached database is stored), and several standalone PC to run indexers.

DataparkSearch is a fork of mnoGoSearch, not ASPSeek.

I am interested to know if there is some sort of built in option to
only index pages with certain words, but the biggest question is if it
can distribute its database across multiple machines.

Yes, you can configure to index a page only if it match one of regex pattern specified.
