hi maxime, 1. i am using pentium III 500 mhz, 80gb harddrive, 512 mb memory, mysql database, redhat fedora core I am running searchd, cached mode, and stored featured, configured dpsearch with multi thread, but evertime i did a search, the first seach always take 15 to 30 seconds, but the second search take less than 1 seconds to 9 seconds. I have around 1mln page indexed. Using DSL line. May I know how to increase the performance? 2. Should I improve my hardware? If yes, what do you recommend? 3. Should I improve any software, such as mysql, i am using the latest version of mysql? 4. Should I run the mod_apache feature?
