I've been trying to use Body Patterns, but I'm doing something wrong and that stops sites from being indexed at all. I want to know exactly how to use them. The documentation isn't clear about that. It says the syntax should be: BodyPattern "<!--content-->(.*)<!--/content-->" "$1" Now, how would that be translated to an actual web page? Should 'content' be replaced by a comment that can be found in the page? And what if the page doesn't have special comments, or if I want to index something that's between a pair of phrases of plain text? Or am I reading it wrong and <!--content--> and <!--/content--> are someting I have to write (if so, where and how?), rather than comments that have to be on the pages? And what about pages that don't match any of the defined body patterns? Are they not indexed at all? And if so, is there a way to allow indexing of pages that don't match any of the Body Patterns, but store the content between the patterns for the pages that do match them? I would really appreciate a detailed explanation. Thanks in advance. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Read the full topic here: http://www.dataparksearch.org/cgi-bin/simpleforum.cgi?fid=02;post=
