MUST HAVE: client-side (front-end) questions (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX) 3-+ years experience on Java and J2EE, Servlets and JSP Mostly server side expertise. Extensive experience on web application development, good problem solving skills. Must have sufficient educational background and/or experience to qualify incumbent to work on most phases of software development. A general understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software-development field is required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff, as described above. Must possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have extensive hands-on Java experience within an enterprise wide environment - minimum 3 years of J2EE experience. Must have either higher education or certifications to get interview. At least 2 years experience in Web-based and n-tier applications. Minimum of three years with JSP and servlets. At least two years of XML-based applications. At least 2 years of SQL. Minimum one year of HTML and Javascript. Must have at least 3 years of 100% hands-on professional Java development experience. NICE TO HAVE: Master in computer science is preferred. Prefer the candidate who can start asap. Master's Degree highly desirable. Five to Seven years of software development or experience in a related field is preferred. SUN-certified Java Developer for Java 2 is big plus. Familiarity with WebSphere and other similar application servers a plus.
