POSITION :ORACLE FUSION
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with Oracle.
Provide expertise in the design and development of solutions using
Oracle Fusion middleware. Work with the Fusion lead developer,
business analysts, designers and customers to translate business
requirements into a functioning system. This position reports to the
Siebel Development Team Lead, a member of the Medtronic Enterprise
Applications Delivery organization.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Job
duties and functions)
• Create and modify Fusion code, primarily using
BPEL and ESB tools. • Design and create interfaces to external
systems/databases using Web services. • Perform and document unit
testing. • Participate in code reviews, system testing and release
activities. • Use code management tools to manage source code
appropriately. • Create, review and maintain project documentation
including functional and technical design documents, correspondence,
reports, procedures and
documents. • Report status of assignments to Fusion lead developer
and project leader.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities • Ability to review and understand
high-level and detailed design documentation • Knowledge and
understanding of development methodologies • Strong knowledge of
relational database technology • Good verbal and written communication
skills • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, and
multi-task in a team environment
EDUCATION REQUIRED • B.A. or B.S.
degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related
discipline.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE • Three or more years of development,
customization, and maintenance experience using Oracle’s Fusion
middleware platform, specifically the BPEL and ESB services. • Four or
more years of experience in software development and deployment.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED • Proven programming skills related to
Fusion
development, including XML technologies, (XSLT, XML Schema), SQL, Web
Services. • Proven development experience in BPEL and ESB.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (what makes doing this job easier) •
Familiarity with the Siebel CRM suite of applications • Familiarity
with other Oracle Fusion tools such as BAM • Certifications in Oracle
Fusion
