*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!* Must be competent in writing SQL queries; have a good understanding of SQL query tuning concepts; be well versed with database modeling concepts; have a good understanding of PL/SQL programming concepts; be competent in writing PL/SQL code. As a plus, have a good understanding of Oracle Forms and Reports development SUMMARY: Under general direction, this position designs, develops, implements and maintains moderately complex databases, which includes but is not limited to the maintenance of database dictionaries and the integration of systems through database design. MUST HAVE: -2-5 years Oracle Development -PL/SQL Development -ability to work well with team and other departments (application team) -communication skills -Strong PLSQL Development skills a must -Must have sufficient educational background and/or experience to qualify incumbent to work on most phases of database development. -Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the database management/development field is required. -Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff. -Must possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. -Minimum 4 years experience building applications with PL SQL and data modeling. -Minimum 4 years with Oracle database on both Windows and Unix platforms. -At least 3 years of database design experience.
