Computer Science degree or at least 3 years of equivalent full time testing experience 2. 2+ years experience of software testing in an established software development cycle with at least 2 major releases 3. 2+ years experience of testing web-based standalone or n-tiered systems preferably with backend systems coupled to high-volume relational databases. 4. Must have intermediate proficiency in Windows NT/2000 operating systems 5. Must have intermediate knowledge of Web and Win32 GUI testing 6. Must have some to intermediate knowledge of Web technologies like DHTML, XML, SOAP, Javascript, Web services, etc. 7. Must have some to intermediate knowledge and experience of Adobe Acrobat and PDF files. 8. Must have some proficiency in T/SQL and/or other SQL scripting languages 9. Must possess strong independent technical troubleshooting & analysis, sound judgment, negotiating and decision making skills. 10. Must have Intermediate understanding of state-of-the-art SQA methodologies and technologies 11. Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills 12. Must possess some to intermediate experience working with third party test tools like Mercury Interactive Test Director, Quick Test Professional, and/or Win Runner. 13. Must have previous experience with UNIX and shell scripting. 14.
