The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of strong backend C# experience with a min of 10 years of programming. They must also have excellent* SOA/Webservices experience within SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XML. Role/Title .Net Developer Location CT Duration 6 month plus Max Rate $43/hr *Job Summary* Work with development team to assist in application support and development of existing web service application. Essential Duties / Responsibilities include: Contribute across the entire development cycle (analysis, design, code, test, initial pilot/production launch, and production support) with the primary focus on analysis, design and coding Perform complex product design activities which may require extensive research and analysis. Perform design, implementation and maintenance of complex, multiple product modules/sub-systems. SOA/Web Services experience. SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XML, WS-* standards. Specific experience with the Microsoft Web Service Model/Framework to create front-end consumer based web applications. Experience with the REST model of web services. On-time delivery of application development projects that meet required technical specifications Participate in product design meetings. Perform complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems. Conduct unit & integration testing for functionality and limits. In absence of product engineers, may serve as a product engineer. Participate in the development of software documentation. Research and understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. Research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology. May check the work of other software developers on development team. All other duties as assigned. *Skills Required* Solid Understanding of Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, .NET, C# Works well within a team structure.
