*Urgent Need of an Java Architect and Must have good Banking/Financial
experience.*

*Role/Title : Java Architect
Location : Jersey City, NJ
Duration : 12 month contract*

*He or she will model and design new regulatory systems developed in Java
for a leading financial / banking firm. *

Must have expertise in the object-oriented design of systems including RUP
and UML. In discussions with the management they have stressed the
importance of

object modeling.

Regulatory systems would be a plus but more important are the types and
scale of previous design projects. Keep in mind that every transaction at a
bank has to be

reviewed by regulatory. This group is one of the most data intensive groups
at this firm. Further, they are not using one central database or warehouse,
but rather a

silo approach where data from each business group or product line is
configured and reviewed separately contingent to the regulatory and
technical requirements of

that area. We are looking for similar prior projects.

*I would be especially interested in people coming from projects such at the
following:
Claims processing at a large insurance carriers such as blue cross/ blue
shield or medicare
Social Security processing
Google or Bing search and data management projects
Telecommunication transaction processing, number lookup and customer detail
systems
And of course regulatory systems for leading banking and/ or insurance
companies
*
