Needed Local to GA Need of QA Analyst with solid *Manual Testing* experience on *Payroll, HR, or Benefit applications (custom developed, Peoplesoft, Lawson, Oracle, ADP, SAP etc.)**
*QA Analyst Duration - 6 month contract Alpharetta, GA Our client is looking for several Quality Assurance Analysts to join their team for a long-term contract. They are currently working on a high profile re-architecting of one of their main HR/Payroll products. Candidates must have solid manual testing experience on Payroll, HR, or Benefit applications (custom developed, Peoplesoft, Lawson, Oracle, ADP, SAP etc.) *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Write and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements. Execute manual tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database. Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts. Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications* 4 - 7+ years of software quality assurance experience. Experience developing software tests for functional, performance and regression testing that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements. HR/Benefits software testing experience is a big plus * ADP, Peoplesoft, Oracle HR experience Bachelor*s degree in computer science, mathematics or related engineering field or equivalent experience. In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies. 2+ years of hand-on experience with Mercury Quality Center / QTP with Business Process Testing automated test tool. Experience developing, executing and debugging automated test suites. Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills * comfortable in proactively communicating with others both within and outside of the immediate team to resolve issues and get questions answered. High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
