The Developer will work closely with other members of the development team
through the full systems lifecycle including requirements capture, design,
development, testing, and deployment.
Experience with Java and J2EE is necessary.
Strong Spring, Hibernate, JMS, a plus.
Understanding of design patterns and agile software development
methodologies is preferred.
Qualifications (background, education, experience, and other requirements)
At least 6 years total experience
BS in Computer Science or related field required; MS in Computer Science or
related field preferred
At least three years of Java/J2EE experience
Two or more years experience with J2EE application servers
At least two years experience building monitoring for distributed systems
that perform critical business or operational functions, preferably in a
real- or near-real time environment (dashboards, alarms, etc.)
EXPERT in one or more of: SNMP, JMX, Nagios
Experience with automated testing REQUIRED, has experience working with NOC
personnel
Working knowledge of Spring and Hibernate
