Should be able to design and create reports based on technical specifications provided. The developer should be able to work with a team and should be able to meet deadlines and schedules. The developer should have the ability to map data between the application and the SQL Server database. The developer will adhere to best practices in terms of coding standards etc. Candidates must have the following core job skills: 1. SQL: - strong SQL (minimum ANSI-92) expertise and ability to hand-code SQL - strong experience using an enterprise RDBMS (esp. SQL Server, Oracle) - 5 years minimum - SQL Server Stored Procedures - Must be able to structure and perform Performance and Load testing (know how to optimize reports when user volume goes up exponentially) 2. Crystal Reports: - 5 years minimum solid experience developing with Crystal Reports up through Business Objects XI R2. (including CR 10 and 11) - Plus Skill: ability to develop BI Reporting solutions using Business Objects XI R2 Universe Designer and Business View Manager - Should be comfortable in creating formulas, pick lists, grouping data and conditional formatting formulas. - Should be able to create Detail, Summary and Sub reports. - Use Cascading Style Sheets to create a common look and feel among different reports 3.
