HOT Websphere Admin in Jersey City for 1 year Job Title :Websphere Admin location :Jersey City Duration :1 year Manager is looking for somebody with: IT Cam MQ Series ZOS platform. The two skills they'd like to get are *Z/OS and IBM Websphere Process Server*. This consultant will be connecting *ZOS to the Mainframe.* The hiring manager needs a candidate who knows SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and the security pieces under it. This is a LONG term assignment. Web Administrator configures and supports Web & Application server environments for production, Q/A model and D/R implementations. Position includes admin role for Software deployments, SSL Certificate Management, Application function, Performance monitoring. Infrastructure administrator / engineer for Websphere and related programs products including Websphere Process Server. A professional experienced with the installation and configuration of IBM Websphere Process Server. Individual must have in depth knowledge, understanding and experienced in supporting Websphere in a 7x24 production environment. Firm understanding of a development lifecycle practice and respective control points to ensure application integrity and environmental controls. Responsibilities include working with the respective application teams and supporting vendors to engineer solutions that are supportable and maintainable. The solutions also include working with the respective application team to determine the infrastructure requirements to meet the objective. Activities will include but are not limited to software installation and product maintenance, security implementation, configuration setting, environmental tuning, enablement of monitoring and overall controls and support to ensure appropriate application availability for the respective client.
