*Abinitio Architect/Techlead:* *Location: NJ* *Job Description* Ø Ab Initio tech lead who can loojm at existing design and suggest improvements in continuous flows and also develop/modify graphs for batch processing Ø Manage shell scripts for multiple purposes: automation of environment setup, wrapper scripts for process and batch execution, etc Ø Design and Develop reports Ø Responsible for the maintenance, design, development and testing of Ab Initio graphs Ø Ability to successfully work with a larger team on a critical application that needs to be supported 24 x 7 Ø Analyze functional requirements and convert them to technical requirements and design when needed Ø Create technical detail design documents and conduct code reviews with different groups Ø Interface with multiple groups and document results Ø Responsible for the verification and validation of system integration test plans Ø Perform other tasks that support reenginering and optimization of the portfolio Ø Can develop jils for autosys (Not sure of this) Ø Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area of study Ø 5+ years of dedicated Ab Initio development experience in a large data warehouse environment Ø Technical background in databases, data modeling and other ETL tools. Ø Expert knowledge of ANSI SQL. Hands on expertise across multiple technologies. Ø Must have EXCELLENT UNIX and Shell scripting experience Ø Excellent analysis and problem solving skills Ø Must work well in a collaborative, team environment and independently Ø Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ø Data Warehouse design and development methodologies knowledge and experiences with DB2 environment.
