• Very strong in both install/configuration and development; need HANDS-ON architect not just “white board” architect. (required) • Experience architecting highly-available and scalable WebSphere Portal 6.1 systems with at least 3 years hands-on experience. • Strong knowledge of Websphere Portal components, services and frameworks (WCM, PDM, WMM/PUMA, Personalization, Themes/Skins, Portlet Wiring, Access Control, etc) • Integrated WebSphere Portal with enterprise security systems (LDAP) • At least 5 years experience in web-related development efforts using Java, J2EE, or related development techniques (AJAX, JAVASCRIPT, JSP, Spring MVC, JAXB) • Must have experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting portlets (JSR 168). • Experience with Web Services, Dojo • Experience with iterative design & development methodology principles. • Experience in the use of Security Integration – identity management, authentication, authorization, access control. • Experience in use of Personalization – unique, configurable Websphere Portal experience for each individual users.
