xxxxx provides manages the Neighborhood Vacant Lot Cleanup Program, an
initiative that has been funded for more than 20 years by the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to reduce urban blight in
low and moderate income areas.
The scope of this project is to work on a new fully integrated system on the
.NET platform, as other Agency applications, and in alignment with the new
technology initiative. The application will be integrated with the
enterprise applications within the department thereby reducing multiple
iterations of repetitive data entry and validation. These repetitive tasks
place the data at high risk of being written and saved with errors which
results in high support costs to maintain the current state.
The new system requires complex application design, utilize existing and
build new architectures using the design patterns. Additionally the design
will include database architecture and screen design, integrating with other
newly developed systems via the SOA.
