Job Title : Metadata Developer
Location : Foster City, CA
Duration : 12 months
Basic experience:
1. Hands on Meta data configuration experience including security set up,
hierarchy and using time series wizard.
2. Has experience working directly with Oracle EBS as source system.
3. Has experience setting up caching for OBIEE objects.
4. Good SQL knowledge and the ability to tune the reports performance.
Other OBIA skill sets:
Expertise in Business Model development with Dimensions, Hierarchies,
Measures, Partitioning, Aggregation Rules, Time Series, Cache Management.
Extensive experience in customizing Siebel Analytics/OBIEE dashboards and
reports, Analytics Metadata objects, Web Catalog Objects, Time Series
Objects.
Customize and develop RPD (Physical, BMM and Presentation Layer), configured
metadata objects and Web Catalog Objects and also created Drill down
Hierarchies and implemented business logic for facts and dimensions.
Work on Presentation layer to organize different subject areas according to
user requirements.
Test and validate the repository by using ODBC client tool and compare the
results generated in Answers.
Work with the Security settings in Analytics Admin Tool to set up Users,
groups, access privileges and query privileges.
Configure OBIEE iBots to deliver Analytics content based on schedule,
automated iBot queries to obtain daily and weekly reports.
Implement security by creating roles & web groups, checks with External
tables and LDAP, and Object Level Security.
Develop many Reports / Dashboards with different Analytics Views (Drill-Down
/ Dynamic, Cascading Style Sheets, Pivot Table, Chart, Column Selector,
Tabular with global and local Filters) using Siebel Analytics Web (Answers,
Dashboards) and BI Publisher.
