REQUIREMETS: The manager would ideally like someone with a 50/50 split between the two sides. Must havea strong strored procedure background, along with strong design skills. This client has an internal resource that will manage the day to day DBA responsibilities such as backup and maintenance. He would like someone with a strong Development and DBA background because you will be the backup for the DBA and will also be responsible for tuning. They run SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008. Their total size is around 10-15 TB but that is split between 1,000 databases ranging from 20 MB to 1 TB. They use Crystal for reporting and it would be a plus to have some experience in that area. Looking for a strong background with troubleshooting and a quick thinker. Does not need to have architecture experience but needs someone senior enough to work on own. Thanks and Regards. . .
