Job : Configuration Manager w/ LINUX/Android platform Exp Location : Santa Clara, CA Duration : 3-12 Months Only US Citizens, Green Card, and EAD holders may apply Project Description: IAG UMG needs a CW to work on the build/SCM/release engineer for the LINUX/Android platform SW stack. Daily Responsibilities: SW build/test engineer focused on Linux Build process, Release Management, Software Configuration Management (SCM) and Acceptance Testing. Design, develop and perform build acceptance testing (BAT) of Wireless modem drivers and middleware, in Android/OS based Smart phone platform. Analyze/debug/resolve build, configuration and release management issues by working with various teams and component owners. File iss ues/bug-sightings into bug-database, log updates and resolutions, in most disciplined and timely manner. Necessary Skills (Must Have): · Knowledgeable in Linux OS make utility, git repository, rpm package management, automation tools, etc. · 3-yr experience working as Build/Release/SCM Manager in Linux environment required. Experience in Build Automation and Regression is required. · Working experience or familiarity with Android OS. · Development experience in in C, C++, Java, Perl, scripting · Good understanding of Android build process most desirable. · Fast learner, good communication and documentation skills.
