Description:
Insurance background a BIG plus
. Develop new and support existing Cognos BI reporting solutions
. Participate in full development life cycle within Cognos reporting
framework from developing business requirements to QA and production
deployment Assist with dimensional modelling, OLAP cube development,
metadata definition, building and maintaining complex reports using Cognos
and Microsoft toolsets.
. Participate in integration, performance, and user acceptance testing for
BI solutions
. Write and maintain technical documentation to describe program
development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections
. Test and verify data models, mapping and data definitions
. Work directly with IBM/Cognos on debugging efforts and trouble tickets
. Provide technical assistance with troubleshooting reports/cubes by
responding to inquiries and questions
. Produce deliverables by gathering information and understanding the
business needs and objectives
