Job                  : Sr Change Management Analyst

Location         : Deer Valley, AZ

Duration         : 3+ Months

 

Senior Level Change Management Analyst.

 

Qualifications:  The following are required unless specifically stated as 
preferred or desired:

 

College Degree in Computer Science preferred

Must have prior Change Management experience

Experience or general knowledge in all aspects of IT including Computer 
Operations, Production Control, Applications Support and Development 
lifecycles, Quality Assurance     Testing, Release,   Problem and Incident 
Management

Knowledge of industry best practices and ITIL principles for Change, 
Configuration and Release Management

Experience in Quality Assurance functions including testing, user acceptance 
testing and systems integration testing

At least 5 years experience working with large scale Mainframe, Open Systems - 
Windows, NT, Unix and Network platforms 

Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with on-site 
and remote Project Managers, Engineers, Developers and all levels of cross 
functional teams and management in a highly dynamic and demanding work 
environment

Must be customer oriented and recognize the importance of customer service and 
meeting service level commitments

Must be able to work effectively under pressure, make sound recommendations and 
resolve conflict

At least 3 years demonstrated ability to independently analyze business needs 
and impact of production business environments

Familiarity with compliance requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 

Must be able to multi-task, be a self-starter and able to work during 
off-hours, weekends and holidays as required 

Previous experience using Remedy and configuration management database  

Must have good analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent verbal and 
written communication abilities 

Must be able to Previous Retail experience desirable 

                

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Review of  RFC's (Request for Change) to ensure that all Change Management 
requirements and standards are enforced and properly categorized according to 
established guidelines

Business and technical impact analysis 

Schedule changes to coincide with business and technical risk and SLA 
requirements 

Must be able to conduct Change Advisory Board (CAB) Meetings

Produce Change Management reports

Enforce, track and control to support SOX and Audit requirements

Communication of changes to affected IT Teams and Stakeholders via established 
communication channels

Conduct Change Management Improvement Reviews for changes that negatively 
impacted service delivery

Conduct Change Management training and communicate Change Management policy 
revisions and updates

Coordinate and participate in matrix change control activities

Ensure that changes have been successfully tested and certified according to 
the established procedures 

Monitor change activity pre and post implementation

Collaborate with other support groups such as Release Management, Software 
Distribution, Operations, Problem Management and TEG to ensure synergy of 
change related activities

Recommend improvements to existing Change Management policies, standards, 
processes and procedures

Support IT goals and objectives and SLA's are met on a consistent basis
