datetime.so problem: undefined symbol PL_stack_max

hi!
i installed DateTime, DateTime::Locale, DateTime::Format::MySQL from 
CPAN and tar.gzs.
everytime i try to start my modperl-webserver i get this message:

[Tue Sep  2 16:25:46 2003] [error] Can't load 
'/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/auto/DateTime/DateTime.so' for 
module DateTime: 
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/auto/DateTime/DateTime.so: 
undefined symbol: PL_stack_max at 
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i686-linux-multi/XSLoader.pm line 75.

i use debian 3.0r0 with a self-compiled perl 5.6.1

can anybody help me ?
