Actually when I first saw that, I thought it meant 'Timex' as in, the brand of watch. Which sort of made sense to me as the point of the module was aimed at calculating events with periodicity but with no fixed starting point. So I saw 'timex' and was thinking 'stopwatch'. Anyway, I think there should be a namespace for 'floating event' type of modules like this, where something (length in days, etc) defines the spans between events, but the relationship of those events to the actual calendar is only dependent on when the sequence starts.
