I'm in the process of writing [0]some DateTime modules to handle the

[1] http://www.warwick.ac.uk/

I split them up into one that calculated the start of a given year, and
one that will handle calculating which week a date is in.

Is it appropriate to call them DateTime::{Calendar,Event}::Warwick? I
did consider having an 'Academic' at the 3rd level, although I'm not
sure whether this will actually gain anything in terms of reusability
between academic calendars. Perhaps it would.

Maybe WarwickUniversity? I don't think a third level namespace is really warranted here.
