Today marks the second time in as many years that DateTime has saved my
ass on a project (although due to NDA I'm afraid I can't discuss what it
is).
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the DateTime
contributors over the years for a date and time suite that is ruthless
in it's devotion to rigorous correctness above all else.
When you need to implement time-related functionality correctly, and
implement it quickly, I can't think of anything else I'd possibly ever
consider using, regardless of language.
I consider the entire set of modules a breath of fresh air, especially
welcome in such an intrinsically non-trivial problem domain.
