I recently came across a web page about the Tranquility calendar,
thought it was a fun concept. I found a command line equivalent to the
*nix date command, written in C by Scott M Harrison, I've ported it to
perl, you can get it here:

I wonder if a DateTime::Calendar::Tranquility module would get used by
anyone? Kind of sounds like fun to work on, but I'm not sure what to
base it on. It has 13 months, somewhat more like the Hebrew calendar,
but it has the same leap year calculations as the Gregorian calendar.
Plus it has null days.
Any thoughts?
