I can't say enough good things about DateTime and its hard-working
maintainer. Bravo, Dave! And thanks. I hope you had fun in Taiwan on
your "sort of" vacation.

Just minutes ago, I installed DT 0.4304, DT::TZ 0.78 and DT:Locale 0.41
on my Microsoft Windows XP SP2 computer with ActivePerl 5.8.8 (Build
822) installed. I used the Perl Package Manager v4.01 and downloaded the
pre-compiled, pre-packaged modules from http://www.bribes.org/perl/ppm/.
Slick!

What about DateTime advocacy? I want to show off DateTime and its
assimilation of the world's most recent locale, time zone and time scale
changes. Any suggestions? For example, how do I best demonstrate
DateTime.pm's understanding of the just-announced 24th leap second,
2008-12-31T23:59:60? And how might I show off the latest additions to
the Olson tz database using DateTime/TimeZone.pm?
