Hi all,
for a web application I'm working on, I was requested to display the offset of
the timezones from GMT, like:
(GMT +2) Asia/Jerusalem
(GMT +1) Europe/Paris
Etc.
How can I calculate the current offset of a time zone to the GMT based on the
string ID I'm getting from DateTime::TimeZone->all_names ? I've read the
documentation and the code and they aren't clear enough in this regard.
