Hi all, I am having trouble playing some mp3 files on davinci. The playback is garbled and full of audio glitches. All mp2 files and some mp3 files play perfectly. I have built a combo server using the mp3codec library (mp3dec_tii_l1l2l3.l64p). The sample CCS application which uses the same library to decode mp3 into pcm has no such problems. I have also tried playing the same mp3 file using the decode demo application bundled with the EVM by renaming the files as mp2. This also comes out garbled. All mp2 audio files play fine. Some mp3 files also play with no problems. Can some one help me out? Do I need to make special changes in the application for mp3 playback as compared to mp2 playback?
Regards, Pradeep Sriram NOTE: There seems to be no correlation with bitrates and sampling rates of files which do not play. A 128kbps 44.1khz mp3 would play and another with same properties would not play correctly.
