Hello all,
First of all thanks to everyone for helping
out with my LCD problem. Turns out the Adaptor was
conked out. Was giving an ouput of only 1volt. Now I'm
facing TWO new problems.
Problem 1:
I'm using u-boot version 1.1.3 on the 6446 DVEVM.
During boot up and while normal operation, inserting a
pen drive in the USB port does not get detected... One
main issue is that the pen drive light does not even
turn on. Does that mean that there is hardware issue
with the connections or with a drivers.....
I've refered some of the previous post on this forum
but none of them discuss the status of the pen drive
light and hence the query....
After inserting the pen drive, I did a fdisk -l but
only the hard disk were shown...
lsusb command gave me the following output:
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 04d6:0000 Mentor Graphics
but i'm getting the above output even if no pen drive
is inserted.
I then did a lsmod and noticed none of the usb modules
were loaded. so I loaded them by "modprobe
usb_storage" but still no difference in my usb....
Problem 2:
When i boot using NFS with the FS one my PC hard disk
I noticed that the /usr/lib folder is empty.... There
is no modules directory inside. This I noticed while I
tried to do a :modprobe usb_storage". Is this normal
behaviour.... If yes how do I load the modules? If NO
then can some one suggest what I've done wrong....
