Hello all,

This issue was probably discussed in one of the topics, but I couldn't
find it.

My question is: can two codecs be executed at the same time?

We have the following scenario:

We open one codec engine, and then create three codecs. One of the
codecs is waiting on the DSP for an event. At this time, if we call (in
ARM application) any function that executes an API belonging to one the
remaining codecs, this API does not return from DSP and the system
hangs. All ARM threads use the same instance of the codec engines. If we
force the first codec to return from DSP before executing the second or
third codec API, everything works fine.

Is it supposed to work this way or we are doing something wrong? I would
appreciate any feedback.
