I burn all but the filesystem so far, I need to work on doing the filesystem this week.. I think it should work, the PEEDI is bad-block-aware. I just have to work out the right ECC/OOB format and create the yaffs2 image. Ilko at Ronetix has been very helpful, I was his first customer with DM355 and he make a couple of firmware updates for me to be able to do the programming I can now. If I need help to get the YAFFS2 working I would expect him to help out, the configuration stuff is there, it is supposed to be able to do it. Programming UBL, u-boot, kernel (~1.5M) and magic numbers takes about 30 seconds, but I had to slow the JTAG clock down a lot on our design to get it reliable (more chips and longer paths). I haven't tried to optimise it. -- Jon Povey, Design Engineer [email protected] | +44(0)1280 825983 Racelogic is a limited company registered in England. Registered number 2743719 .
