Some MTD patches have been submitted but don't seem to have landed anywhere yet (which can be an issue with MTD): - update MTD core to support a new ECC model - update davinci_nand to use that model - update dm355evm board likewise Once that's merged there will be a separate issue with needing to update the boot code to understand that, so you can e.g. load the kernel from a NAND partition you wrote with that code, or similarly from UBIFS.
