Can anyone point me at more information about a DM355 RBL change to NAND ECC layout handling? This email from David Brownell on the u-boot mailing list
http://www.mail-archive.com/u-b...@lists.denx.de/msg21042.html mentions a discussion here and hints at an RBL change, but I can't see anything obvious in the archives. As far as I know DM355 RBL can only handle "infix" ECC layout on 2KB page NAND, i.e. clobbering manufacturer bad block markers. Just want to check that: - DM355 RBL can't handle the "new"/"correct" layout (ECC together at end of page) - We're not going to buy another batch of DM355s and suddenly find a new RBL which expects a different ECC layout. If so I better start planning now.. Thanks, -- Jon Povey jon.po...@racelogic.co.uk Racelogic is a limited company registered in England. Registered number 2743719 .
