I did further investigations, and with the config of my previous email, I 
formatted a 2MB partition, wrote down something, and after a reboot it 
doesn't show me nothing, as the partition is empty (just lost+found).

Though, it strangely tells there's some space used:
/dev/mtdblock3            2.0M    768.0K      1.3M  38% /mnt/target

So it doesn't seems a problem of compatibility, but just a problem of re-
reading what's written on the nand (just guessing)

Do you know which branch should I take from yaffs upstream?
